Chad Duennes is executive vice president of stores for Catalyst Brands, reporting to Kevin Harper, chief operating officer. Duennes leads all aspects of stores, store operations, construction, facilities, customer care, and asset protection. He is responsible for improving the shopping experience, resulting in an engaging customer experience, driving topline sales, and increasing customer retention.

Duennes most recently served as SVP of supply chain for Catalyst Brands. He joined JCPenney in May 2012 as east region senior director of supply chain operations and was appointed senior director of supply chain strategy, engineering, and analytics in May 2015, advancing to vice president in April 2020. He was promoted to senior vice president in December 2022.

Prior to joining JCPenney, he held several director–level positions at PepsiCo in sales, supply chain, and sales operations for more than eight years. He holds a Bachelor of Business degree from Ohio University.
